Need ideas for homeschooling field trips? You've come to the right place. I've compiled a list of places to visit by school subject - science, history, government, engineering/industry, and fine arts.
Some of these places will be familiar to you, but there are others you may not have considered. It could be a simple family field trip or a large group trip organized by your co-op or church school.
So try to get out of the house and have fun with some hands-on learning experiences.

Some of the most popular destinations for field trips have to be zoos and aquariums. Our family loves animals, so we visit a zoo every other year. When we lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana we really enjoyed visiting the New Orleans Zoo and Aquarium. You can even combine the two and get a ferry ride from one location to the other. We actually did that one year and had a great time!
One of our most memorable field trips was to Dauphin Island Alabama and The Estuarium.
You can read about it HERE.
